RELATIONSHIP

This collection is a set of home textiles, including a pillow, vase cover and cup mats. The idea for this collection comes from my relationship with my partner; no matter how much conflict we had, we are still together and love each other in the end by choosing to make home textiles appear in our living room; these are the items that we see and use daily. The print on the fabric was based on the knitting samples I made regarding this topic, like ladders, heart shapes and intertwined knittings. I used knitting and hand shapes to convey the unbreakable connections. I also want to demonstrate the passion between lovers by using heat-sensitive dyes on both knitting and fabric, which will change colour when we hold it; the knitting parts will change to pure white, and the fabric will change to more dynamic colours.
